AAIDD has taken the position that, “"Given that the diagnostic process involves drawing a line of inclusion/exclusion, it is important to use a range as reflected in the test's standard error of measurement" (AAIDD).” The State has determined that strict IQ cut-off scores are essential for budgeting our limited state dollars. What is your opinion on this issue?

Staff at State Supported Living Centers (formerly known as State Schools) are now required to wear a brightly colored vest, much like the vests used by employees at retail stored like WalMart, so that they can be identified as staff on surveillance tapes and in other situations.
What are your thoughts about this practice?
